Position Overview
The UX Research Intern, a fully remote position, will report directly to the Sr Manager, UX Research and play a critical role in implementing and analyzing results from key UX research projects to uncover actionable insights towards developing and enhancing features of SimpleTire.com. Additional responsibilities include creation of test plans or surveys, fielding research studies, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, reporting in Google Slides and Documents, managing projects, the creation of tickets, and other support tasks as needed.
Essential job functions:
- Collaborate with UX Researchers, Product Managers, UX Designers, Data Analysts and Business Stakeholders to enhance the digital and purchasing experience for customers
- Design and assist in user research to pinpoint areas for improvement and optimization across website and communication between customers and stakeholder partners
- Analyze user test interviews and quantitative insights from survey research to provide actionable recommendations to enhance the user experience
- Engage in testing and ensure the delivery of high-quality data and insights
- Ability to manage and track multiple research projects across teams and departments seamlessly

Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college co-op program, entering the senior year with skills relevant and aligned to the role
- Understanding of current E-Commerce best practices, customer psychology, user experience with a focus on ensuring quality
- Ability to use data to generate actionable insights and leverage these insights to achieve goals set for the product
- Ability to articulate clear and concise descriptions for proposed enhancements
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace , especially Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Experience with Excel to view, analyze, and interpret data

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Talking through the computer for many meetings and one-to-one conversations
- Continuous viewing of a computer monitor and data entry.
- Travel as necessary (<10%).
