- Create, edit, and modify AutoCAD drawings based on design provided by engineers
- Utilize annotation for clarification
- Develop and read reinforced concrete and steel drawings as well as mechanical and shop drawings
- Collaborate with engineers and shop and construction operations to meet fabrication and constructability requirements.
Typical Design will Consist of:
- Foundation Layout Plans
- Structural Specifications and Notes
- Steel Structure Fabrication Drawings
- Steel Connection Details
- Concrete Foundation Detail Drawings
- Assist with design tasks including calculations, load rating, structural modeling and analyses, detailing, quantity and cost estimates with supervision from a senior engineer
- Understand & meet project schedule, and quality requirements with accuracy and efficiency
- Self-checks all work performed to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to internal review
- Actively assist in the delivery of a complete project. This may include phone or e-mail correspondence, attending meetings, and other project documents required for project completion
- Provide interdepartmental support (Civil, Electrical, Substation, T&D, etc.) as required
Qualifications:Education
