The VP of Sales will forecast sales volumes utilizing industry knowledge and relationships; driving revenue, strategy and vision to customers and sales leaders tailored to the construction services and products markets.

Responsibilities 


  • Developing and managing growth and delivery of products and services.
  • Managing strategic business relationships. Building trust-based, value-added relationships with key business unit stakeholders.
  • Managing a team of specialized sales professionals, implementing consistent practices for forecast, pipeline, territory management, and quota setting processes.
  • Building, developing and inspiring a highly skilled sales team.
  • Establishing go-to-market strategies and implementation plans.
  • Utilizing reporting of sales numbers, forecasts, pipeline and productivity.
  • Strategizing and implementing revenue generating sales initiatives by leveraging relationships with product specialists, alliances, and marketing.
  • Identifying trends in the marketplace and recommending account strategies based on market research, competitor analyses and strategic initiatives
  • Achieving assigned sales budgets and providing regular forecast updates
  • Appropriately adapts and leverages products, services and operations to effectively compete in competitive markets.

Skills and Experience


  • 10 years sales team management experience required
  • Proven proficiency in developing, leading, and executing a sales strategy
  • Experience in leading sales initiatives in diverse environments, developed and implemented strategies for revenue growth that capitalize on the unique nature of specific environments, leveraging partner and other relationships creatively without being tied to a specific approach.
  • Solid experience in managing strategic sales efforts and significant demonstrable success in building value and growth in vertical target markets
  • Demonstrates high level of influence at senior level, negotiation & facilitation skills
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge in operations strategy, trends, issues and data analysis to deliver against business objectives
  • Ability apply creative concepts to devise solutions, and effectively present these concepts to audiences with varying levels of experience/understanding.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and ability to navigate and excel in a complex, heavily matrixed organization
