Magazine. Position SummaryThe Forcura Product Owners support Product Managers through oversight of the company’s multiple product lines. Product Owners contribute to the company’s product road map through the development of detailed business requirements, lead product delivery efforts, assist in functional testing, validate potential product defects, and support other departments as subject matter experts. Product Owners should possess a deeply analytical mindset, be a self-starter who can manage and prioritize multiple work streams and demonstrate excellent communication and analytical skills.Job Duties
- Lead and support product management for Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other software integrations through API and HL7 standards, supporting Forcura’s interoperability goals.
- Provide input to technical documentation and user guides specific to integration workflows.
- Work in an Agile environment to refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain a list of backlog items and prioritize them based on overall strategy and business objectives.
- Own the product creation process from design to development based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
- Participate and contribute to cross functional daily stand-ups, sprint plannings, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the Product team, internal stakeholders, and strategic partners to support the end-to-end launch of innovative products.
- All other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems or in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of product owner or business analyst experience, ideally in a SaaS organization
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
- Successful background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams
- A high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, and understanding of Agile principles
- Ability to work individually and in a team, with strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships successfully in a cross-functional team environment
- Skilled at diving into the details while maintaining a strategic, creative, and holistic perspective.
- Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and with a strong sense of ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-acute healthcare technology experience
- Experience with APIs, HL7 standards, and FHIR knowledge a plus.
- Experience in requirements gathering, product development, and testing.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues related to data integration and ensuring uptime/reliability of integration points.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools preferred.
