We are growing, and while lean is great, we need more people, energy, innovation, and talent.Right now, we are adding an Enterprise Account Executive to the team. You will be responsible for the direct sales of Tulip’s Enterprise Software to Retailers. This includes educating the market on the Tulip Platform while working closely with some of the worlds best retail brands and work to develop and deepen those relationships over time. As a trusted Tulip sales expert, the Account Executive will consult potential partners and work with the sales team to help further qualify leads, as well as coach and mentor extended sales team members. What you'll do:

  • Drive sales of the Tulip solution to achieve quota; accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Develop and execute business plan, account plans, strategy and tactics to generate revenue from assigned geographical territory and/or account base within North America
  • Develop customer specific value propositions, business cases, and ROI
  • Understand customer’s business objectives and be able to align the Tulip solution to their problems ensuring Tulip is viewed as a strategic partner to help them meet these goal
  • Responsible for annual and quarterly strategic business plan to achieve Tulip sales objectives
  • Develop sales initiatives and work cross-functionally within Tulip and our extended partner community to execute sales programs with excellence
  • Educate customers on the Tulip solution and the value it brings to a large retail organization
  • Engage executives in targeted retail accounts and help them along a buying process
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects using Salesforce and other tools
  • Negotiate complex multi-phased deals including professional services

What you bring:

  • 5+ years previous enterprise SaaS sales experience
  • Proven track record of sourcing and executing deals to enterprise customers in a complex sales environment with deal sizes (ACVs) $150K+
  • Prior experience selling software to retail, e.g. eCommerce, POS, OMS, RFID, Store Operations, OmniChannel etc.
  • Ambition and hunger to win deals and a track record of exceeding quota
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience presenting to executive audiences
  • Knowledge of CRM and Sales tools including Salesforce and 6sense
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%) for sales meetings, conferences and interactions with customers and prospects
