This role focuses on identifying, onboarding, and supporting individual creators, influencers, and key opinion leaders, particularly those aligned with American Black culture and its influence on pop culture.You will be a key advocate for creators, ensuring they fully leverage Fanbase’s tools and features while helping shape the platform's future by connecting with creators who reflect the vibrant, innovative, and diverse communities that inspire global trends and attract supportive audiences for growth.Your social publishing and analytics savvy will also support our team’s efforts to engage creators and track performance effectively.
Experience with Sprout Social is a strong plus, as it is an integral tool for Fanbase’s social publishing and performance reporting.Key Responsibilities
- Creator Recruitment: Identify, vet, and onboard a diverse range of creators and influencers, with a strong emphasis on engaging African-American creators and creators deeply connected to Black culture and its impact on pop culture.
- Product Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to develop messaging, campaigns, and strategies that highlight Fanbase’s value to creators, particularly those in music, fashion, entertainment, and other culturally relevant industries.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with creators, offering them the tools, insights, and support they need to succeed on the platform.
- Education & Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor to creators, educating them on Fanbase’s monetization features (subscriptions, locked content, live streams, audio chats) and best practices to grow their audience and maximize revenue..
- Campaign Execution: Partner with colleagues in the product marketing and product teams to design and execute creator-focused initiatives, including challenges, webinars, and promotional events that amplify engagement on the platform.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics, including data from Sprout Social, to track creator performance, understand trends, and provide actionable insights to refine strategies for onboarding and retention.
- Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of creators within the Product Marketing team, sharing valuable feedback to improve platform development and marketing strategies.
- Community Building: Support efforts to foster a vibrant creator community by promoting networking, collaboration, and peer support among creators on Fanbase.
- Event Support: Assist with planning and executing live events, webinars, and other digital activations to highlight creator success stories and the benefits of joining Fanbase.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in creator partnerships, influencer marketing, talent management, or a related field within the creator economy or social media industry.
- Social Media Tools: Familiarity with Sprout Social (or similar tools) for social publishing, scheduling, and analytics reporting is a strong plus.
- Product Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with product marketing principles and how they intersect with creator success in a social economy context.
- Social Media Expertise: Must have a strong understanding of social media platforms, creator monetization strategies, and the unique challenges and opportunities within the creator economy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent contextual written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with creators and internal teams.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple creators and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Awareness of Black Culture: Deep understanding of and connectivity to Black American culture and its significant influence on global pop culture, with a passion for empowering creators within this space.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in & connectivity to African-American creators or communities, reflecting Fanbase’s primary core audience and mission.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights platforms) and reporting metrics.
- Event management and experience supporting digital activations.
