Although we’re a growing company, we continue to cherish the start-up culture with a hands-on approach ensuring our customers come first!Purpose of the RoleWorking alongside our Senior Accountant, you will immerse yourself within our Global Finance Team and work for our multiple subsidiaries (US/UK/FR/DE/SGP). You will have frequent exposure to the CFO and various stakeholders from all our functions. Your goal will be to manage all AP transactions from record to payment, expense claims process and bank reconciliation. You will also contribute to general book-keeping and month-end closing for some of our entities and contribute to processes enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely posting of Accounts Payable invoices and Credit Cards transactions, multi-currency/multi-subsidiaries, ensuring a tidy purchase ledger
  • Preparation of supplier bill payments

  • Answering queries from suppliers and other business departments about accounts payable and payments made

  • Supplier account reconciliations and preparation of AP reports for review
  • Checking expense claims against the expenses policy and approving them for payment
  • Completion of bank reconciliations, proactively dealing with any reconciling items

Desired Knowledge & Experience

  • Ideally you already have 3/4 + years of work experience (experience in a start-up or Tech company is a plus)
  • Good accounting knowledge (academic background in accounting or an equivalent of DCG degree)
  • Exposure to international environments and multi-currency accounting (but not essential)
  • Experience of NetSuite would be of benefit (but not essential)
  • Good working knowledge of Excel beneficial
