Cognicion LLC, a boutique eDiscovery services and information management provider is actively recruiting a skilled Cyber eDiscovery Consultant responsible for the delivery of post-cyber event eDiscovery projects to clients. Provides oversight and day-to-day tactical support in the analysis, culling of, and reporting on compromised documents. Supervises document review. Creates and QCs client Notification Lists. Supports Sr Consultants and managers through effective project management, coordinating team resources, assisting with project related tasks, and ensuring high levels of client service.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manages Cyber eDiscovery projects and provides day-to-day support to the Cyber eDiscovery team. Collaborates with other Cyber team members and managers to execute technical workflows for Cyber projects including data mining and review at the direction of outside counsel and clients.Understands, oversees, and executes Cyber eDiscovery workflow processes and procedures that meet project specifications and adheres to best practices, including
Protocols involving forensic vendors, legal teams, and clients to transfer exfiltrated dataMass extraction workflows and notification reportsData normalization, deduplication, and validationDevelops, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of new procedures across multiple projects to ensure efficient, defensible best practices and quality processes.Continuously refines workflows to increase efficiencies to maximize project team effectiveness and profitability.Anticipates and identifies Handles or escalates those having significant impact on project processes.Prepares project metrics and project statistics from various resources and provides reporting on same, as requested.Stays abreast of emerging industry best practices and tools to identify, evaluate, and recommend ongoing enhancements to the organization’s protocols and procedures.Works with business development team to promote the Cyber eDiscovery service line internally and externally by speaking to Cognicion’s capabilities and value.QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1 years’ experience as an eDiscovery Project Manager, a Cyber eDiscovery Project Manager, or as a Review Manager.
- 1 year of experience handling Cyber eDiscovery projects preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong project management experience with on-time deliverables, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
- Up to date knowledge of cyber security and incident response industry standards including including data collection formats, document analysis and culling, review QC standards, and notification reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of cyber data analysis technologies and tools such as Relativity, Everlaw, Canopy, TreeSize, and Excel. Ability to create, apply, and edit metadata overlays. Power BI and VBA encouraged but not required.
- Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) preferred but not required.
- Extensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, management and processing of electronically stored information (ESI), including the use of various ESI management tools and applications.
