Position Overview | Marketing + Content Specialist


The Marketing + Content Specialist is responsible for creating technical and compelling marketing content and materials to support The C2 Group’s digital footprint through brand and voice. Content created by the Marketing + Content Specialist will build trust, establish thought leadership, and demonstrate expertise to ultimately achieve company marketing, sales, and talent acquisition goals. The C2 Group is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We support a flexible and remote work environment. Candidates must be based in Michigan, with a preference in Grand Rapids, allowing for one day per week worked in the office.

Excellent written communication is required for this position. Writing samples will be requested in the interview process.

Accountabilities of the Marketing + Content Specialist:


  • Own C2 brand and voice through content creation
  • Create and curate engaging content for digital platforms, aligning with our brand voice and business goals
  • Write engaging copy for social media, blogs, email campaigns, website content, and other marketing materials
  • Create marketing content schedule, aligning to marketing strategy
  • Create and collaborate on writing assignments with internal staff and/or external partners
  • Review all marketing pieces to ensure consistency with brand and voice
  • Focus content creation towards proper audiences, targets, and objectives

  • Own and manage C2 website and social media
  • Manage all content posted on the C2 website using Webflow, creating an engaging user experience
  • Ensure brand and voice consistency on website and social platforms
  • Demonstrate understanding of SEO principles and accessibility standards
  • Aid in crafting and executing email marketing campaigns and landing pages, including designing templates and analyzing email performance
  • Analyze content performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Manage outbound marketing strategy plan and execution
  • Develop and execute internal marketing strategies to promote C2’s services within the B2B enterprise sector
  • Facilitate campaign planning, execution, and reporting

Required Experience:


  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a technology or digital solutions environment
  • A track record of producing high-quality, impactful written content for various platforms
  • Strong proficiency in content management systems, preferably Webflow
  • Basic design skills with experience in creating visually appealing marketing materials
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree specializing in marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
