About the role


We are seeking a

Mid Market Account Executive


long-term who is responsible for identifying, partnering, and closing business with 500-1000 employee accounts in a defined territory. This person will be critical to developing, testing, and executing a sales process to scale our success in this key growth segment. This role will be working with HR leaders to understand their compensation strategies and identify ways to partner together for their long term success.  This is not just a job; it's a lifestyle.

What you bring:


  • 2+ years of sales experience full cycle sales or equivalent business to business sales experience.
  • Proven ability to independently manage and develop client relationships.
  • Ability to drive consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement.
  • Experience determining customer requirements and presenting/demonstrating appropriate solutions to best meet customer needs. .
  • Comfortable building from the ground up and bringing clarity to ambiguous situations 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

What you’ll do:


  • Be foundational Mid Market AE to refine product/market fit and build processes that scale for future growth in the segment. 
  • Prioritize ICP and refine messaging to resonate with the right customers who can partner with BetterComp.
  • Lead the entire cycle sales process responsible for discovery, demonstrations, and change management discussions with HR teams. 
  • Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, demand generation, and product to refine and build processes for scalable growth. 
  • Accurately manage your pipeline and provide accurate visibility into your business for forecasting.

What we offer:

  • Base salary range for this position:$80,000(annually based on location and experience)
  • On-target commission: ~$100,000/year
  • On-target total earnings: ~$180,000/year
