Who We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a self-driven and collaborative Software Engineer II who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment. You should be passionate about building full-stack software and confident in your ability to take ownership of technical projects. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and UX teams to deliver high-quality features. Curiosity, motivation, and the ability to drive progress independently will set you up for success in this role.What You’ll Do With Us
- Design and Develop: Work as a member of the Product Engineering team to build full-stack features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PHP.
- Collaborate across teams: Work with Product Managers and UX designers to help shape product requirements and propose technical solutions that meet user needs.
- Lead Projects: Own the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to deployment and maintenance, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality features and quarterly initiatives on the roadmap.
- Mentor and Review: Provide guidance through code reviews, constructive feedback, and mentoring to foster the growth of other engineers.
- Ensure Quality: Uphold quality standards through code reviews, tests, and best practices, ensuring reliable and maintainable code.
- Optimize Architecture: Design and optimize the architecture of front-end and back-end systems to enhance scalability, performance, and efficiency.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience building full-stack software in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in web-based technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PHP.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects, managing them from technical design to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver impactful features.
- Experience contributing to and shaping software architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- A commitment to coding best practices, including writing tests, optimizing performance, and ensuring security.
- A results-oriented, delivery-focused mindset, always working toward meeting deadlines and achieving team goals.
