We work with some of the best operators in the world to identify high impact areas to automate and/or automate with software. Our team develops software, manufacturing processes, and machine controls and we integrate with a variety of machines and robotics systems. We are responsible for designing and implementing the solutions cradle to grave. Broadly, this can be any combination of full stack web engineering, applications engineering, computational geometry, and working with a number of engineering centric APIs (documented and undocumented).

In this role you will:


  • You must have experience with TypeScript and strong experience with frontend development, ideally using React
  • Need to have built fullstack applications personally or professionally using a modern web stack
  • Be proficient in Git and basic software development workflow
  • Need to understand the basics of developing and deploying web technologies at a minimum
  • Need to possess strong user empathy
  • Need some comfortability writing and reading performant algorithms and data modeling
  • Be Software monitoring and performance analysis

Admired skills/background:


  • Strong experience in React & Typescript
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
  • State management experience in either Zustand, Redux, or similar
  • Experience designing and building complex software systems from scratch
  • Decent product design taste/skill is a plus
  • Some experience with C++ and/or C# is highly admired
  • Networking and API design experience (REST & gRPC)
  • Experience working in a microservices system architecture
  • Domain knowledge in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing space

This might be a good fit if you:


  • Have built and deployed fullstack applications before
  • Consider yourself frontend leaning or is 50/50 across the stack
  • Have experience with data visualization or 3D environments (big plus)
  • Have experience using or developing CAD/CAM products (also a big plus)
  • Have manufacturing or mechanical engineering acumen
  • Have great product intuition and user empathy
  • Enjoy working with your end users (since you'll be working closely with manufacturing experts to understand their workflows and make sure their needs are being met)
  • You have a good feel for what is worth building when engaging with a complicated problem

Compensation and Benefits


For this role, the target salary range is $150,000 - $225,000 (actual range may vary based on experience). This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
