We're looking for a Bioprocess Engineer to join our awesome team.
You will join our Bioprocessing team in London, developing operations to support the production of cultivated fat. Working alongside brilliant engineers, biologists, and mathematicians, you will build novel protocols and technologies to drive our progress towards large-scale manufacture.

As a Bioprocess Engineer, you will work within our scale-up team to improve our production process and get our technology ready for our next manufacturing facility. You will coordinate with the Models and Hardware teams to incorporate new instrumentation to monitor critical parameters in pilot-scale and industrial systems. Your talent for collaboration, reliability and love of engineering will make you an essential member of our team.You should have:
- A master's degree (or equivalent experience) in biochemical engineering, cell biology, biomanufacturing, or a related discipline
- 4+ years’ experience developing bioprocess operations in an industrial setting
- Experience performing mammalian cell culture in suspension bioreactors
- Experience developing sterile operations and writing SOPs
- Experience with bioprocess monitoring and analytical instrumentation
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and drive
Ideally you'll have experience in some, but not necessarily all, of the following areas:
- Multiple bench-scale and pilot-scale bioreactor formats
- Large-scale production of mammalian or fermentation-derived products
- Large-scale sterile media preparation
- R&D project management
- Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
