The Role:
Pachama is looking for an IT Support Specialist to help maintain computer networks, provide technical support, and ensure the organization runs smoothly from a technical perspective. You will monitor and maintain Pachama's computer systems, install and configure hardware and software, and solve technical issues as they arise.
Location:
This role is a contract fully-remote position, ideally working in PT/ET timezones.

What You Will Help Us With:
- Help run the installation and configuring of computer hardware, software, systems and networks
- Monitor and maintain employee computer systems and network functioning
- Create a standard ticketing system and respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Provide virtual technical support across the company
- Help onboard new hires by setting up accounts for new users
- Coordinate the procurement and replacement of equipment as needed
- Set up our internal IT process and ensure devices are secure and protected
- Help streamline the off-boarding process
- Log bugs and enhancement requests
Experience & Skills We're Looking For:
- At least 4 years of working experience in IT support
- Experience with SOC 2 security compliance
- Experience using Google Cloud, as well as working with MacOS
- Experience with communications tools like Zoom and Slack
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong trouble shooting and critical thinking skills
