The role involves analyzing sales data, developing forecast models, and managing pipelines for products, ingredients, and installations (e.g., bots). The position serves as a critical bridge between data-driven predictions and operational execution, enabling the organization to anticipate demand accurately, optimize resources, and enhance overall efficiency.Reporting to: Head of Commercial Strategy & PlanningJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze historical data and market trends to develop demand forecasts for products, ingredients, and installationsCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotions, campaigns, and other factors into forecastsRefine and implement forecasting models to improve accuracyMonitor and adjust forecasts based on real-time data, feedback, and external market factorsMaintain and monitor the sales pipeline to align demand forecasting with sales activities and operational capacityIdentify bottlenecks or discrepancies in the pipeline and recommend corrective actionsEnsure pipeline data is up-to-date and reflects accurate customer and sales team inputsWork closely with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and resource planningGenerate regular reports on forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and variance analyses for stakeholdersProvide actionable insights to leadership to guide decision-making on resource allocation and inventory planningIdentify and implement improvements in forecasting methods and pipeline management processesLead initiatives to incorporate advanced analytics and automation into forecasting workflows.Productivity KPIs will include:
- Forecast accuracy (measured as Mean Absolute Percentage Error or similar metrics)
- Pipeline conversion rate (percentage of leads moving from one stage to the next)
- Reduction in forecast-to-actual variance over time
- Inventory optimization metrics, such as reduced stockouts or excess inventory
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, economics, data science, or a related field (Master’spreferred)Minimum 3–5 years in demand forecasting, supply chain management, or pipeline managementExperience in industries requiring dynamic forecasting, such as FMCG, retail, or manufacturingAnalytical thinker with strong numerical aptitudeProactive problem solver with a focus on continuous improvementComfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environmentsTechnologically adept, with a passion for leveraging tools and software for operational efficiency.Salary $110,000 - $140,000 per yearplus bonus and stock options
