We are looking for an exceptional
Senior Node.js Engineer
to lead our Blockchain Analytics Team, driving the development of advanced solutions for extracting and analyzing historical and real-time blockchain data.As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in shaping our blockchain data processing engines, ensuring they are accurate, scalable, and reliable. You’ll collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative analytical features that power critical insights for our users. Your work will contribute to and enhance our existing high-scale services, which currently handle up to 26 billion requests per month, serving over 45.4 million unique users.
By building cutting-edge blockchain analytics tools, you will help expand this reach and push the limits of real-time blockchain data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand Blockchain Integration Coverage: Design and implement robust, high-performance ingestion mechanisms for extracting and storing raw blockchain data.
- Develop Advanced Indexing Solutions: Build innovative solutions for token, wallet, and contract-level indexing, creating enriched metadata and actionable insights that power new data feeds on the platform.
- Deliver World-Class On-Chain Metrics: Provide cutting-edge on-chain metrics to support trading and research efforts across the organization, while identifying opportunities to develop new market-ready products.
- Lead and Mentor the Engineering Team: Manage, guide, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented environment.
- Stay at the Forefront of Blockchain Technology: Continuously monitor advancements in blockchain technology, trends, and best practices to ensure the team remains industry leaders.
- Enhance and Maintain Existing Systems: Optimize the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of current blockchain data ingestion and analytics engines while providing ongoing support and maintenance.
Key Requirements
- Proven Backend Expertise: At least 4+ years of experience in backend service/API development, with 2+ years of hands-on experience using Node.js
- Problem-Solving Expertise: Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Data Storage Proficiency: Hands-on experience with databases like Redis, PostgreSQL, and container storage solutions. Skilled in designing, optimizing, and maintaining storage architectures for high-performance applications.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated experience leading and inspiring teams, mentoring engineers, and managing projects to successful outcomes.
- DevSecOps Mindset: Strong expertise in end-to-end delivery, including secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows.
- Quality-Focused Development: Deep understanding of writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability, accuracy, and performance.
- Collaborative Communication: Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across teams and engage with diverse stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Blockchain Expertise: Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized ecosystems. Experience working with blockchain networks or on-chain data is a significant plus.
- Financial Market Knowledge: Interest or prior experience in traditional financial markets, trading systems, or investment platforms, demonstrating an ability to apply insights from financial domains to blockchain and cryptocurrency analytics.
- Cryptocurrency Industry Experience: Familiarity with the cryptocurrency industry, including an understanding of tokenomics, wallets, exchanges, and DeFi platforms, is highly advantageous.
- Analytical Tools: Familiarity with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Grafana, or custom-built dashboards) to surface insights from large datasets.
