About the role
Kisi is seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and implementing best practices for security and reliability. As a DevOps Engineer at Kisi, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize build pipelines, streamline development workflows, and ensure the high performance and scalability of our systems.
What you'll do
- Architect CI/CD pipelines and automate related workflows across our teams
- Architect scalable and resilient infrastructure for our services to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve operational issues for our services
- Define and enforce cloud security best practices and compliance controls across infrastructure deployments.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows using scripting languages (Python, Bash) and configuration management tools to automate operational tasks and infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including selection/separation decisions and performance reviews.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures (e.g. incident response plans), where possible in version control repositories for audit and compliance purposes.
- Prepare and present reports on infrastructure performance, metrics, and improvement initiatives to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices
- Very comfortable in at least one programming language (Python / Ruby / Go)
- Strong experience with version control systems and scripting (Git, Bash)
- Hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure and services (e.g. Google Cloud Platform)
- Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform)
- Solid familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GCP Cloud Build pipelines)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
