Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Qualification: Electrical Engineering: National Diploma / Degree (BSc / B Eng /B.Tech) with 5-10years’ experience in an Electrical Engineering environment• Project Management training with 5-7 years project experience• Good experience and knowledge of electrical systems and project management• Sound knowledge of QA systems and ISO requirements• Excellent Microsoft Office and MS Projects skills• Leadership skills and managing of multi-disciplinary teams and sub-contractors• Specialised knowledge of the business processes in the company• Balanced with strong analytical skills.• Strong oral and written communication skills.• Be based on a site for an extended period inside and outside South Africa when required• Manage multiple projects at the same time• Strong negotiation skills• Ability to lead a team and make decisions• Gas, Diesel, Solar and other Power Generation experience• Strong FIDIC / NEC contract experience• Customer Management Skills• Legal Liability exposure• Construction Regulations exposure• Mine Health Safety Act exposure• Budget management and Revenue forecasting• WIP management• Occupational Health and Safety knowledge• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills• Experience / exposure across various Engineering disciplines
