Role Overview: Senior Systems Engineer
The Senior Systems Engineer will be an essential member of our engineering team, responsible for designing, integrating, and managing complex systems and ensuring their seamless operation. This role requires strategic thinking, in-depth technical knowledge, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities for Systems Engineering
- Design and implement system architectures and integration processes.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of system operations.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system development with business needs.
- Maintain systems documentation and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure and processes.
- Participate in code reviews and mentorship programs to support junior engineers.
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in systems architecture, network configuration, and hardware integration.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of security protocols and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
