Position Summary:


We are looking for a Front-End Developer to help create effective user interfaces on the company’s public websites and manage the ongoing maintenance and optimization of those sites.  The successful candidate will work closely with our IT department and external vendors to design and manage projects to ensure our websites meet our client and prospect needs while staying at the forefront of innovation and technical functionality. The Front-End Developer will also be responsible for ensuring relevant controls over data and content management across the organization.

Essential Job Functions[1]:


  • Help determine the structure and design of our front-end applications for various devices including mobile
  • Implements web pages, applications, widgets, web parts, and assets using a working knowledge of content languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, XSLT, and XML)
  • Develop features to enhance the user experience
  • Monitor website performance, watch for site usability problems and rectify issues
  • Collaborate and manage fellow developers and content managers as well as external resources located locally or off-shore.
  • Participate in formal design and code reviews for others' work.
  • Optimize web pages and mobile pages for maximum speed and scalability
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout design
  • Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website and in internal functions as well
  • Manage the implementation of website development projects, ensuring they deliver on time and within scope.
  • Manage other projects as assigned related to Marketing Operations. 

Education and Experience:A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field is preferred. At least 3-5 years’ experience in website management and/or design, ideally within a fast-paced agency or small company environment where hands-on management is valued. Interest and/or experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Requirements/Skills:


  • Experience in one or more of the programming languages: C#, Java, Python, PHP, etc., preferably C#.
  • Familiar with different CMS platforms, preferably Optimizely
  • Experience with Headless and Traditional CMS platforms
  • Experience in a formal Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Evidence of ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external clients and resources.
  • Self-motivated, curious, creative, and passionate about technology.
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.

This role is ideal for a dynamic and innovative web professional who excels in a collaborative environment and is committed to elevating our brand and our products through exceptional user experience.The compensation for this position includes salary and incentive pay. The annual base salary range for this role is $90,000- $130,000 USD which does not include discretionary bonus compensation. Total compensation may vary based on experience, role, location, department, and individual performance.
