Summary


We are looking for a Demand Generation Specialist for our SMB Business Unit to help generate MQLs and drive pipeline for the company. This role is a critical position within the Demand Generation team and would be appropriate for anyone who is keen to join a high performing team focused on growth and results. This team’s ‘Fail Fast’ attitude provides a great environment for someone who wants to try new ways of driving leads/MQLs/pipeline growth and ultimately grow bookings. You will be responsible for working closely with the Senior Marketing Programs Manager, Demand Generation to align efforts and use data and analytics to measure and improve performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B demand generation for SMB-sized companies, data collection and analytics, and will possess strong communication skills.

How will you contribute?


  • Managing Campaign Execution: Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including reporting and data analytics from MarTech platforms, recommending improvements to existing programming based on data, updating email nurture programs, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring effective communication of deliverables and expectations to all stakeholders.
  • Campaign Analytics and Reporting: Manage campaign tracking and reporting, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to align on and execute cohesive demand generation strategies.
  • SDR Support: Work directly with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to facilitate effective follow-up on MQLs generated through campaigns.
  • Content Strategy Support: Identify content gaps and opportunities based on campaign performance and market trends to inform future strategies.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and analyze potential media vendors to ensure alignment with campaign goals and ROI expectations.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform various duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall team success.

What will you bring?


  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B demand generation or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging marketing content.
  • Experience with CRM software, including Salesforce.
  • Previous experience with Marketo is highly preferred, but other Marketing Automation tools would also be acceptable.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
  • Previous working experience with Business-to-Business (B2B).
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • A desire to collaborate, learn and grow in the demand generation field.

$68,000 - $88,000 a yearThe above base salary range represents Smarsh's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting. Any applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process. The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training. Local cost of living assessments are done for each new hire at the time of offer.
