Job Description:
Dynamo Technologies, LLC seeks a Cybersecurity Project Manager to support The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Cybersecurity and Privacy Operations Center (CPOC) which serves and supports USDA Agencies and Offices by helping to protect mission-critical assets and information, thereby securing the Country’s diverse food, agriculture, rural and natural resources programs. The CPOC monitors and protects USDA’s systems by keeping abreast of new threats to both existing and new technologies and continually monitoring the USDA information technology enterprise to ensure USDA Agencies and Offices computing environments remain secure.
The OCIO provides leadership in the development, implementation, and management of security solutions into the everyday business of the Department to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) data and information systems.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Provide the next level of support to execute complex projects with the ability to pivot to changing circumstances while still providing the desired results.
- Clearly and thoroughly define project and program goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables for cybersecurity initiatives.
- Stakeholder management by coordinating with technical leads/business stakeholders to keep the project on track and communicating project status to CPOC leadership.
- Support a consolidated view of all projects and identify similarities and opportunities to save time and resources.
- Provide guidance so projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Apply expertise in PMI-related processes to provide insight and guidance to CPOC leadership.

- Ability to plan, organize and structure work.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Experience motivating teams in a virtual environment.
- Proactively leads teams in the execution of complex tasks with minimal direction and produces high quality results.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and capabilities.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to obtain PMP within 6 months

- Cyber background
- Experience managing a program
- Familiar with IT projects
- Government contracting
- PMP Certification highly preferred
Education and Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (minimum of 3 years in Project Management experience)
- BS in Business Administration, IT or any related field
