Job Summary:


The Senior Director of Product Management and Product Marketing will lead and develop a team of product managers and product marketing managers. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Management & Marketing, this individual will play a critical role in executing the strategic vision set by executive leadership while ensuring high-level execution and cross-functional collaboration.This role requires a strong, dynamic leader who can mentor and develop a high-performing team while aligning product management and marketing initiatives with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in product marketing, a strategic mindset, and a passion for team building. While experience in in vivo oncology is a plus, the ability to translate complex scientific offerings into compelling commercial narratives is essential.This is fully remote position.

Responsiblities:


Leadership & Team Development


-  Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers ensuring alignment with company objectives.-  Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and execution, ensuring the team has the skills, resources, and support needed to succeed.-  Partner with the VP of Product Management & Marketing to ensure that all product and marketing initiatives align with a broader corporate vision.-  Advocate for team needs while ensuring alignment with commercial, R&D, and marketing leadership.

Product & Portfolio Strategy Execution


-  Execute go-to-market strategies and product portfolio plans in alignment with the broader strategic roadmap set by executive leadership.-  Oversee the prioritization and execution of product and service development initiatives, ensuring timely and market-driven decisions.-  Guide competitive intelligence and market analysis, ensuring that strategic recommendations are data-driven and actionable.-  Ensure that all product management and product marketing efforts are fully integrated with business development and sales strategies.

Marketing & Commercial Execution


-  Oversee the development of differentiated positioning and messaging frameworks, ensuring Crown Bioscience’s services are well-articulated in the market.-  Work closely with regional commercial teams to ensure marketing strategies effectively support sales efforts across global markets.-  Ensure scientific and technical accuracy in all marketing and sales enablement materials by collaborating with R&D and scientific communications teams.-  Develop cross-functional execution plans, confirming seamless coordination between product management, marketing, and sales teams.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Internal Influence-  Work closely with R&D, operations, commercial, and marketing teams to drive alignment across portfolio and service offerings.-  Support customer engagement initiatives in collaboration with sales and scientific teams, with consistent messaging and a high-impact market presence.-  Establish best practices in team operations and reporting, enabling visibility into key KPIs for leadership.- Able to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally as needed.

Minimum Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in life science related field or marketing - 10+ years of experience in product management and/or product marketing within life sciences, biotech, CROs, or a related field.- 5+ years of experience in leadership role-  Strong understanding of oncology drug development, particularly preclinical models and translational research-  Proven track record in leading and developing teams, with an emphasis on mentorship, skill-building, and executional excellence.-  Deep expertise in market positioning, messaging, and commercialization strategies for complex scientific services.-  Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams while ensuring execution remains consistent with high-level corporate objectives.

Preferred Requirements:
