El Rol

SimplePractice está contratando a un(a) Ingeniero de Software Senior con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo en un puesto híbrido. El candidato ideal tendrá conocimientos expertos en Ruby on Rails y experiencia extensa en desarrollo backend. Este rol será fundamental en la implementación de una amplia variedad de características planeadas y mejoras de servicio para apoyar nuestra plataforma en crecimiento.Como una de las primeras contrataciones en nuestra nueva ubicación en Ciudad de México, desempeñarán un papel clave en la construcción de un equipo de desarrolladores apasionados por lo que hacen.

Sobre Ti

Eres un(a) ingeniero apasionado(a) y talentoso(a) que está dispuesto(a) a llevar la tecnología existente al límite para crear la mejor experiencia de usuario posible
Trabajas en el frontend con mayor énfasis en el backend para desarrollar nuevas funciones de principio a fin, incluyendo diseño de arquitectura, codificación y pruebas
Te encanta el buen diseño y aplicas ese gusto a tu trabajo en el frontend
Te encanta crear productos que ayudan a más de 200,000 clientes en su vida diaria

Responsabilidades

Construir la próxima generación de la plataforma de gestión de prácticas
Trabajar con nuestro equipo de liderazgo de ingeniería y el equipo de talento para hacer crecer nuestra nueva oficina en Ciudad de México
Colaborar con nuestro equipo de producto para entender las necesidades de los clientes, resolver posibles problemas y definir funciones futuras
Escribir código limpio, eficiente y bien probado que mejore nuestra base de código de manera significativa
Ayudar a diagnosticar problemas y diseñar soluciones

Habilidades y Experiencia Deseadas

Tienes entre 4 y 6 años de experiencia en ingeniería, con experiencia práctica en Ruby on Rails
Eres competente en inglés, con habilidades sólidas de comunicación y colaboración
Tienes un título en Ciencias de la Computación o un campo técnico relacionado
Posees experiencia sólida en al menos un marco moderno de JavaScript, específicamente Ember.js o React.js, y el ecosistema que rodea a esos marcos
Has diseñado e implementado aplicaciones web grandes y escalables y aprecias el código limpio, elegante y simple
Tienes experiencia llevando aplicaciones Rails desde la idea hasta la producción
Entiendes el valor y los matices del desarrollo guiado por pruebas (TDD)
Estás cómodo(a) trabajando con equipos remotos, usando GitHub, Slack, Notion y Zoom para colaborar

Tienes un buen entendimiento de la seguridad de aplicaciones web y las mejores prácticas
Conocimiento práctico de gestión de entornos utilizando Docker, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, NGINX y varios servicios de AWS
Confianza para trabajar con entornos de producción para ayudar a resolver problemas
Experiencia con Linux

Rango de Compensación Mensual

MXN $64,000 - $88,500 por mesEl salario base es solo un componente de la compensación total.Lo anterior representa el rango de compensación base esperado para esta vacante. Al final, al determinar tu pago, consideraremos varios factores, incluidos, entre otros, habilidades, experiencia, calificaciones, ubicación geográfica y otros factores relacionados con el trabajo.(Para ingenieros senior, nuestro rango puede llegar hasta MXN $122,000 por mes)
