Global Partnerships at Coda


The mission of Coda’s Global Partnerships Team (GPT) is to ensure the success of Coda by committing ourselves to the success of our digital content and service partners.  GPT achieves this mission by leading the development and growth of global Publishing Partnerships (deployment of situationally dependent monetization solutions to expand revenue and margin for Coda’s gaming and creator partners), Payment Partnerships (execution and management of payment channel relationships that provide access to both payment methods and promotional reach), and Distribution Partnerships (execution of partnerships that expand the reach of distribution,  monetization and promotional efforts conducted on behalf of gaming and creator partners).The Director, Global Strategic Accounts is a senior leadership position responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company’s most critical global partners in the payments ecosystem, with a focus on card payments and global PSPs (Payment Service Providers).

This position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, strategic alignment, and innovation within the payments landscape, leveraging deep industry expertise and strong commercial acumen. The role requires strategic thinking, negotiation expertise, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with C-level stakeholders to unlock value for both the company and its partners.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies for key global payment partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for global PSPs and card payment partners, driving partnership growth and value creation
  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand commercial relationships, optimizing existing partnerships to maximize efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, finance, legal) to develop partnership structures that support sustained growth
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to influence product and operational roadmaps, ensuring alignment with partner needs and market trends
  • Lead high-value, complex negotiations with global strategic accounts to deliver favorable commercial outcomes
  • Ensure all agreements are structured to meet both financial goals and long-term strategic priorities
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in the payments space at industry events, forums, and with partners
  • Communicate effectively with C-suite executives, internal teams, and external partners to drive alignment and decision-making

Requirements


  • Extensive experience in the payments industry, with a focus on card payments, global PSPs, or related domains
  • Proven track record of managing global strategic accounts and driving material outcomes
  • Demonstrable success in leading and closing complex, high-value commercial negotiations with strategic partners
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate a globally distributed organization
  • Excellent ability to manage relationships with C-suite stakeholders and present with executive presence
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of distilling complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies
  • A trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, inspiring confidence and alignment
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for innovation in payments
