To support the Global Visual Merchandising team overseeing Europe and Middle East region while VM Regional Manager is on Maternity leave. This role will support in VM seasonal update planning process, development and production as well as regional secondary requests.Job Duties
- Working with VM Manager from APAC, create planograms for EMEA retailers seasonally
- Communicate milestones and due dates to Sales team to receive and review Add/Deletes and Assortments (Sales to provide shade order and pricing)
- Working with Creative Ops Manager and Director VM to ensure milestone dates are met.
- All requests created in Asana and tracked in Asana.
- Lead weekly status meetings with Vendors
- Attend reoccurring meetings with Global VM team and International Sales
- Share planograms with cross-functional partners and retailers
- Kick off projects to vendors, plan timelines for production, track development and schedule installs
- Request schedules from all vendors (these need to be approved by sales and retailer and submitted 1 month ahead of ocd)
- Liaise with vendors for production and provide timely feedback
- Review engineering, type-safety files and prototypes (via video or in-person depending on the complexity of the update) with VM Director
- Create artwork requests once type-safety & assortments has been reviewed and ready to pass off to creative team. (Requests placed 1 month prior to due date)
- Request for renderings from 3D designer – Global VM to provide list of which fixtures get rendered
- Ensure door counts are kept up to date per season for door quantities (sales to manage)
- Follow up on all installations, manage any issues, and share photos internally
- Manage vendors to build install new fixtures / organize renovations
- Obtain costs for new doors and negotiate timelines
Requirements
- BFA or BA in Industrial Design or related field of study.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Must have experience in beauty industry and designing for retail environments.
- Strong experience in reading technical drawings and creating planograms.
- Strong attention to details, ability to execute flawlessly and clean product presentations.
- Experienced in working with vendors and tracking to production milestones.
- Able to present concepts both verbally and written
- Ability to take feedback and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work with minimal direction
- Works collaboratively and is a team player
- Strong organizational skills, can prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, self-driven and can work independently while meeting all deadlines.
- Proficient in MAC Platform, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Sketchup or other 3D Rendering a plus.
