THE ROLE


The Senior Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for a designated group of client relationships (universities, agencies of record), with an emphasis on client retention and sustainable budget growth through the development and implementation of performance marketing campaigns. This role includes management of several of the company's most valued client relationships, which necessitate interaction with high-level contacts and a focus on data-driven/sales growth strategies. Additionally, the Senior Account Manager will support the team by identifying and managing cross-functional initiatives across internal teams to enhance process and product efficiencies.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Act as the primary contact between Archer and clients, offering strategic guidance, consistent communication, monthly/quarterly media strategies, and campaign performance evaluations; cultivate relationships with client executive leadership.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of company products and services and the ability to present them to client contacts at all levels.
  • Cross-sell and upsell products and services to existing and new client prospects.
  • Manage campaign budgets monthly, ensuring adherence through technical platforms and identifying/communicating additional opportunities where available.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve campaign performance issues using technical platforms and performance data; develop strategies to achieve client goals and expand campaigns/client partnerships.
  • Comprehend client business objectives, marketing strategy, ROI goals, program offers, competitive landscape, target demographics, and industry trends to share with internal teams and executive management. Manage monthly processes, including planning/forecasting, changes to campaign structure, invoicing/follow-up on receivables, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of new client relationships, including the onboarding/integration process through ongoing management.
  • Analyze, recommend, and support the implementation of system and process improvements to increase operational efficiency and enhance client and team satisfaction across functions.

LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONSABILITIES


  • Provide support during the interview process and train new employees as needed.
  • Supervise the management of designated client relationships.
  • Manage projects and/or processes to address evolving needs or identified gaps.

THE REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 5 + years of account management experience and/or  performance marketing experience 
  • General proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel, including filters, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables), as well as Google Suite.
  • Ability to articulate goals clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and colleagues at all      levels to achieve them.
  • Ability to transform performance data into actionable business insights; capability to summarize and communicate these insights concisely.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on compelling presentations.
  • Strong customer service orientation and adeptness at building relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of urgency and initiative.
  • Experience in lead and inquiry generation within the education sector.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 


  • Experience with Salesforce, Velocify, or similar sales/customer relationship management      applications
  • Prior experience in research, analysis, and cross-tabulation analysis
  • High verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience leading and motivating teams

WORKING CONDITIONS 


  • Some travel may be required, potentially 2-6 times per year. This may include partner visits, conferences, and/or company events.
  • Work may be required during some nights, weekends, and/or on-call hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds may be required, for movement of  boxes/materials as needed for conferences.
