This position is full-time onsite in Bell, CA. The individual hired will be required to work out of our new corporate HQ starting in Q4 2025 or Q1 2026 based on construction completion. Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with strong experience in accounts payable to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring timely payment of bills. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will support the month-end close and financial reporting processes, and assist with other accounting duties as needed.Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and verify accuracy of vendor bills.
- Prepare and process weekly payment batches and ensure timely payment of bills.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate any discrepancies.
- Manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Review and reconcile accounts payable accounts and prepare month-end accruals.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management.
- Assist with annual financial audit and tax return preparation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and assist with general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with other accounting duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Relevant experience in accounts payable and general accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).Compensation Range$30 - $32.50USD
