The US Accounting Department at Tricon Energy is a multinational team with global coverage, overseeing the following functions:
- Financial Reporting
- Tax
- Special Projects
Roles & Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:
- Month end close responsibilities which includes:
- Review monthly account reconciliations
- Analyze account variances
- Prepare and book journal entries
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Assist with the review of statutory audits in foreign countries
- This role will interface with senior management, FP&A, risk, treasury, human resources, external consultants, and the commercial trading team, each with members globally.

- Communication skills are required.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required
- CA/ CPA preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years' accounting experience at a mid to large CPA/ CA firm preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or financial services preferred
- Strong technical proficiency in Excel required
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and ERP systems (JD Edwards and Oracle BI Enterprise Edition a plus)
