Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our growing team. This role is responsible for tracking and optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring efficient product movement, and maintaining strong relationships with third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and data analysis to support strategic decision-making. The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with commercial and logistics teams to improve supply chain performance and drive efficiency.
Responsibilities
Supply Chain Monitoring & Analysis:
- Track Tricon’s allocations and commitments with third-party vendors (warehouses/truckers).
- Monitor daily logistics exposure and performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Analyze warehouse and trucking allocations for competitiveness and operational efficiency.
- Provide data-driven insights to optimize Tricon’s logistics operations.
Logistics Coordination & Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth and effective product movement.
- Support commercial and logistics teams with spot business quotes and new logistics projects.
- Manage claims related to third-party vendors, ensuring timely resolution.
- Cross-check third-party invoices for accuracy and ensure timely payment processing.
Inventory & Risk Management:
- Review inventory levels regularly and provide strategic feedback to management.
- Oversee supplies inventory and coordinate ordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement in supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a resin packaging facility or a similar supply chain role.
- Experience working in an ERP system (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
