Servicing Specialist, where you will lead the charge in managing post closing and servicing operations for our clients!UpEquity is a real estate financial technology company that offers innovative solutions to give homebuyers more power and certainty. Our culture is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a relentless commitment to exceptional client service. As a Servicing Specialist at UpEquity, you will be a pivotal player to ensure UpEquity’s loan operations processes are executed efficiently and effectively for every customer.As a Servicing Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Loan closing
  • Verifying that loan closing packages are signed, notarized, and received on time from the title company
  • Clearing investor/warehouse conditions and ensuring required documents are uploaded to their platforms in a timely manner
  • Ensuring collateral documents are shipped in a timely manner
  • Following up for aged trail documents as needed
  • Post closing
  • Processing lien modifications / collateral changes as needed
  • Processing release of liens for paid off loans as needed
  • Supporting asset purchases and REO procedures as needed
  • General
  • Categorizing documents accurately and assigning appropriate metadata for easy retrieval and management reporting. 
  • Following proper procedures for securely disposing of outdated records once their retention period has expired. 
  • Retrieving and providing requested documents to authorized users/vendors in a timely manner.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management, project management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • The drive to build something new and make continuous improvements
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
