We are seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to manage our contract processes and agreements. This individual will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing a variety of contracts, including sales contracts, vendor contracts, and software licenses. The Corporate Counsel will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, to ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including sales contracts, vendor contracts, and software licenses
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, to ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain contract templates and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Drive automation and efficiency across legal and business operations to streamline processes
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries and issues
- Collaborate with the Sales team to support the sales process by providing guidance on contract terms and conditions
- Manage the contract review and approval process, ensuring timely execution of contracts
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract processes and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and customers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; JD from an accredited U.S. law school a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a SaaS company or technology-focused environment
- Strong knowledge of contract law, regulations, and best practices
- Fair, strong, concise, and balanced negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with contract management software
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
