As
Cloud Engineer, you’ll design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience working with one or more cloud providers within a Government/DoD context (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP) and will play a key role in automating, optimizing, and securing cloud environments. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of cloud architectures, and hands-on expertise in cloud automation tools.We know that you can’t have great technology services without amazing people.

What you’ll do:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Automate cloud configurations and deployments using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure security and compliance requirements are met across cloud deployments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated cloud resource provisioning.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to integrate cloud best practices into workflows.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of cloud configurations, processes, and best practices.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP)
- Strong proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced cloud environment.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, OCI Foundations, or Google Cloud Associate)
