This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely.
Position Summary
As a Data Integration Consultant, you will work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize data integration solutions that streamline data flow between various systems and software for low and moderate complexity customers. You will leverage your knowledge in data management, integration tools to ensure seamless and efficient data exchanges, helping clients adopt Vena. You will lead data workshops and customer discussions to articulate and translate customer data requirements into a data solution design.
You will also develop extraction and transformation process from client’s source system, validate data, support UAT and existing ETL processes. You will work closely with our team of Consultants as well as with external clients and partners in order to understand solution requirements. What you will do
● Design and configure data extraction and transformation objects to meet customer requirements on the Vena platform on lower and moderate complexity projects● Leverage standard Vena product tools and processes have experience working with one or two other technologies within the Vena ecosystem to build data integration solution including, but not limited to Vena transformation tools, SQL, API/Scripting, PowerAutomate and Microsoft Fabric● Maintain high levels of customer service by acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on integration● Skilled at independently validating data and collaborating with both clients and project team during User Acceptance Testing, while managing and tracking issues in the log.● Investigate customer data sources (ERP, GL, CRM, Operational systems) when applicable and design connection interfaces to Vena.● Has sufficient knowledge of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other datarelated activities.● Remain current on integrated Product developments that translate to environmental or code modifications.
Does this sound like you?
● Minimum of three (3+) years’ experience working with primary RDBMS● Experience in ETL application design and development● Experience in a BI environment working with both data warehouses and OLAP cubes● Expert knowledge of Excel, MS SQL Server● Experience in cloud-based Microsoft data integration tools, Power Automate, Fabric and Data Factory● Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and work with internal and external stakeholders● Extremely thorough, detail oriented and process driven● A strong analytical capability with keen problem solving and decision making skills*Our salaries are tailored to roles, levels and locations.
