If you're looking for a meaningful product and a great company culture, let's talk!Reporting to the Director, Software Development, the Reporting & Analytics Team Lead at Axonify plays a foundational role in helping to determine the direction of and execute on data-based initiatives and product features and the future of the team at Axonify. This role leads a team of Data Analysts that help build reporting and meaningful insights for internal teams and our customers.

The impact you'll have:


  • Leading our cross-disciplinary (BI, analytics, and analytics engineering) Data team as we provide our customers with business-changing insights and help deskless workers succeed
  • Approve technical direction for Reporting and Data products
  • Manage the performance of Data Analysts and conduct regular touchpoints and formal performance evaluation process for direct report(s) while supporting the professional growth of all members of the team
  • Work with internal teams to prioritize experiments and data-related initiatives
  • Balance priorities across their team and make course corrections to balance between strategic and tactical business priorities
  • Work with product management to prioritize and shape the direction of all new customer reporting and data platform products
  • Expand our self-serve reporting capabilities
  • Incrementally adapt the team to the evolving needs of the company (team growth, new applications, new technologies, etc.).Conduct performance analysis and optimization of high-volume data infrastructure and reporting
  • Participate in code and architecture reviews
  • Dive into the code when necessary to help execute on projects and be on-call for any platform challenges off-hours

What you'll bring:


  • 10+ years in data analytics with some experience leading teams
  • Proficient knowledge of Looker and BigQuery
  • Statistics and Analytics skills coupled with a deep proficiency in analytics engineering to guide BigQuery Development
  • Proficient in SQL. Python is a nice-to-have
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Leadership skills to lead and grow a team of talented and motivated data analysts
  • Analytics Engineering in BigQuery and having built Looker reports previously, preferably using Looker as an embedded product within an application
  • Launching internal reporting/data access strategy
  • Having led or been involved in building up databases with a good understanding of the principles behind building good databases
