Dynamis is seeking a mid-level
Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to provide law enforcement training and instructional design support services for a major U.S. federal government law enforcement agency. The ISD will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on curriculum design and development, executive education and leadership development, training assessment methodologies, instructor and student evaluations, traditional and alternative training delivery methods, and instructional training aids development.

Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate course review with SMEs and stakeholders for assigned training products and continually monitor products for appropriateness, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Recommend improvements to existing course content and delivery and manage configuration control of assigned courses to improve business processes and effectiveness of the agency’s training mission.
  • Draft training project plans and course design documents, develop status briefs for assigned courses, prepare agendas and document meeting minutes, and facilitate curriculum working groups for new and existing courseware reviews and updates.
  • Provide technical review of assigned client curriculum products for adherence to standard design, development, and evaluation principles.
  • Facilitate continued development, coordination, configuration management, and evaluation of client’s training curriculum program.
  • Propose training policies to strengthen, facilitate, and integrate executive training with on-the-job leadership training.
  • Ensure eLearning and Instructor-led instructional materials meet 508 compliance standards.

Requirements:


  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Obtain and maintain DHS Suitability as required for this position
  • BA/BS
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in program management with at least 3 years of experience managing and coordinating ISD efforts on multiple training programs/projects
  • Ability to ensure the design and development of new training is consistent with accepted ISD processes and standards.
  • Previous workforce planning experience preferred.
