Your Impact
We are seeking an experienced and innovative
Systems Engineer II
to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of decentralized computing systems, LTE and 5G connectivity solutions, switchable relays, and power conditioning technologies. You will own the global radio-frequency (RF) compliance process and manage relationships with SIM providers while evaluating international requirements for expanded connectivity solutions.
What You'll Do
System Development and Integration:
- Design and implement decentralized computing solutions ensuring reliable performance in various operational environments.
- Develop and manage 4G/5G and Starlink connectivity systems for optimal communication and integration with existing hardware.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and testing of switchable relays and power conditioning units.
Compliance and Certification:
- Technically support celluar certification processes, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.
- Liaise with SIM card providers to optimize network performance and evaluate connectivity requirements for additional markets.
Lifecycle and Performance Management:
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards.
- Validate systems and components using industry-standard test equipment and methodologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, and software) to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to quality assurance, production, and project management teams.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on hardware integration.
- Proficiency in 4G/5G technologies and it’s compliance processes.
- Experience with power conditioning and relay systems in harsh environments.
- Strong understanding of system-level design and validation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex ideas effectively.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
