Enterprise Data Management Program Manager

Job Overview:


Oversee Enterprise Data Management program deliverables from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and to required standards. Develop and drive the planning, execution, and delivery related to enterprise data management and consumption, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

PMO Manager

Supports:

EDM Team (Vendor Contractors, Staff, and Business Partners)

Minimum Skill Requirements


Business Skills:


  • Ability to plan, lead, monitor, and implement enterprise data management program deliverables, including the development of realistic project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and task dependencies tracking all tasks and artifacts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions that meet business needs. Ability to manage expectations, address concerns, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders is essential.
  • Ensure accountability for contractual deliverables that meet business expectations. Connect deliverables with high-level objectives and vision.
  • Develop and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of technical programs related to data warehousing and reporting services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate project meetings, ensuring agendas are actionable and outputs (decisions, action items, risks, and/or issues) are documented and distributed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex data challenges and project roadblocks.

Technical Skills:


  • MS Project
  • Azure DevOps Board or other project software (navigation, task management, dependency linking, resource assignments, and reporting)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with communication tools for scheduling and communication with teams
  • Technical writing for reporting, communicating technical risks and needs
  • Agile Toolsets
  • Broad understanding of Data Management fundamentals, including Data Governance, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and their interrelationships
  • Familiarity with databases, ETL tools, data modeling, and cloud-based solutions is beneficial

Certifications:


  • PMP Certification, preferred
  • Agile Certified Practitioner, preferred

Experience:


  • Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience leading Data & Analytics projects
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading large, multi-faceted teams to develop and implement data warehousing and BI solutions
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing sub-contractors and vendors to deliver expected solutions
