About the Role


Clutch is looking for a Creative Director to define and elevate the visual voice of one of Canada’s fastest-growing startups. With a bold vision, an expanding presence, and a significant branding budget, the candidate will shape a cohesive and compelling brand experience across all consumer touchpoints—from digital and product to retail and large-scale advertising campaigns.

What You’ll Do


  • Work with Clutch’s founder to set the creative vision for Clutch’s brand, leading the execution of all visual storytelling across digital platforms, product experiences, retail environments, and national advertising campaigns (including billboards and television)
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Brand, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a consistent and powerful visual identity across all channels
  • Elevate creative execution by setting high design standards and ensuring every touchpoint is engaging, strategic, and visually compelling
  • Enhance user experience by working closely with Product and engineering teams, integrating strong visual design principles into digital and physical interactions
  • Champion innovation in branding, motion design, and creative storytelling - pushing the boundaries of how Clutch engages its audience

Requirements


  • 5 to 7 years of experience in branding, visual design, or creative direction, ideally within a high-growth environment
  • A proven portfolio showcasing outstanding creative work across digital, print, and large-scale campaigns, with case studies demonstrating impact
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and a strong understanding of design systems
  • Motion design and animation skills are a significant plus
