Role Overview:
The Tracking Team Representative will be responsible for monitoring and managing the tracking of shipments to ensure timely and accurate updates. This role involves proactive communication with carriers, resolving tracking issues, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain high service levels. The representative will report to the Tracking Supervisor and work closely with the compliance team and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely updates and accurate information.
- Communicate with carriers to obtain real-time tracking updates and resolve any issues.
- Utilize tracking tools and systems to input and manage tracking data.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to address inactive carriers and other compliance-related issues.
- Follow established workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tracking and issue resolution.
- Escalate tracking issues to the appropriate teams or personnel as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new tracking processes and tools.
- Provide support to the after-hours tracking team as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of carrier operations and tracking processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address operational challenges effectively.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in using tracking tools and systems.
- Most importantly, high drive and efficiency when operating
Preferred Skills:
- Logistics and tracking experience, but not necessary
- Experience with automated tracking systems and tools.
- Familiarity with Slack and other communication platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Hours:
- Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support as needed
Location:
The expected on-target earnings for this role is $24.00 per hour. This range reflects typical earning potential in this role. When determining an offer, we take into account a variety of factors that are important in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill sets; experience and tenure; education and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is based on market data. Salary bands may, in some circumstances, be adjusted to a different geographic area depending on the candidate's position and location.

Our policy is that we target candidates local to one of Flock Freight’s headquarters locations (San Diego and Chicago) and ask that employees work in-office.
