ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our local market presence and enhancing our partnership ecosystem with Salesforce and Marketing Automation technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with technology alliance partners, organizing and hosting in-person events, and generating a sales pipeline through strategic outbound and partner selling motions.This role may require occasional travel and is only suitable for those with a high degree of self-management.

The ideal candidate will be located in the Metro Chicago area.CloudMasonry culture is rooted in setting big goals and providing our employees the flexibility and autonomy to achieve them. COMPENSATION


  • Total Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 annually, including base salary, with additional variable commission and performance bonuses tied to closed-won opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential technology alliance partners. Serve as a liaison between partners and CloudMasonry to explore new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Event Management: Plan, organize, and host engaging in-person events for partners and prospects to showcase CloudMasonry's capabilities and build stronger relationships.
  • Sales Pipeline Development: Implement effective outbound strategies and partner selling motions to identify new business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and opportunity identification.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies, share insights, and drive collective success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, partner management, or a similar role, preferably within the technology or consulting sectors.
  • A strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Metro Chicago area.
