The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our client's full lifecycle agile development team. The business analyst will be expected to work across multiple business units to perform business and systems analysis activities and tasks. They will provide oversight for development team activities. They will work directly with subject matter experts (SME) and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are thoroughly documented, tested, and achieved. They will be involved, and work in concert with other team members, to analyze, design, implement, and test solutions.Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Research and understand our client's business processes and their inter-relationships.
- Facilitate joint analysis workshops with business units.
- Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements.
- Coordinate and lead development team activities with the Project Manager and Architects.
- Develop documentation, including Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrices, and Test Plans.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Regression Testing.
- Track bugs and backlog items using Microsoft DevOps.
- Provide weekly updates to the Project Management Team.
- Review deliverables for compliance with department standards.
Compensation and Term This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $80,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.Qualifications you
need
A successful Business Analyst has the following experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- A minimum of three (3) years of business/systems analysis and software development project experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proven ability to translate Business Requirements into analytical documents and collaborate with development teams.
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps.
- Knowledge of Florida Administrative Code (60GG-1 – 60GG-5) is highly desired.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (SCM) preferred.
- Experience in project management, change management, and release management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is highly desired.
- Experience in process modeling using tools like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SmartDraw.
