DSFederal Inc, is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions in diverse environments and must have full software development lifecycle experience utilizing ServiceNow.

Job Description


Job Duties/Responsibilities


  • Perform development, configuration activities and administration of the ServiceNow environment
  • Develop and implement a robust service catalog in support of a large Federal customer
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using ServiceNow’s modules, including ITSM and ITOM
  • Develop applications on the platform leveraging core ITSM tables, scripts, rules, workflows, data imports and transformations, etc.
  • Analyze and translate business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve complex business objectives
  • Ensure instance health by working with technical teams to reduce technical debt and align to ServiceNow leading practices
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules to align with business processes, ensuring accurate and efficient monitoring and management of IT infrastructure
  • Implement automated workflows and orchestration processes using ServiceNow Orchestration and Workflow Editor
  • Understanding and experience with driving process optimization using automation
  • Ability to produce a functional design document to match needed customer requirements
  • Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagram, process diagrams to support and communicate changes to the ServiceNow platform
  • Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in coherent system design
  • Provide expert knowledge to ServiceNow application architecture to business and technology teams and facilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps and practices

Requirements

Experience Required


  • 3-5 years in software development, with strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and relational database skills.
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow configuration and development experience (ITSM, ITOM, and App Development, scripting, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Public Sector Digital Services implementation.
  • Proven expertise in implementing at least two ServiceNow modules, preferably ITSM and Change Management.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly. ServiceNow Certification

Technical Skills Required


Required Skills:


  • ServiceNow development experience (ITSM, ITOM, Change Management)
  • JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and relational database skills
  • REST/SOAP API integration experience
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, both in technical and non-technical settings.

Education Required:


  • Bachelors Degree

Certification Required:


  • ServiceNow Certification
