Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Execution Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects in alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing large-scale IT projects in a DoD environment, with a strong background in business case analysis, risk management, and team leadership.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee and manage the execution of engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Analyze requirements and develop a proposed technical solution that meets the requirement with an associated schedule and an associated cost estimate.
- Oversee execution of approved ECPs by documenting the approach and schedule in a Project Management Plan, Integrated Master Schedule and Work Breakdown Schedule.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, driving project timelines and deliverables.
- Make strategic decisions under pressure to keep projects on track.
- Foster collaboration and communication across various departments and stakeholders.
- Ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to project teams to ensure high performance and goal attainment.
- Ensure that project deliverables are met with high-quality standards and compliance to DoD processes.
Requirements
What We Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer sciences, business management, or related field (required).
- Minimum five (5) years as a Lead Project Manager.
- Minimum five (5) years in DoD IT environment.
- Solid understanding of business cases and risk management processes.
- Proven self-management and team-management skills.
- Ability to monitor and control project budgets.
- Capability to make decisions under pressure.
- Must possess expert managerial, leadership, and communication skills.
Certifications:
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
Preferred Qualifications:
Clearance Level:
Active Secret Clearance.
