About the role:
Product Specialists at Parabola focus on maximizing adoption and usage for our high-growth and high-value customers, working hand-in-hand with Account Executives and Account Managers to help these customers realize increasing value from Parabola. Expansion is a critical part of Parabola’s success and Product Specialists play a very central role in that goal.Success in this role is not just about empowering an individual builder on Parabola, but having scaled impact on groups of users and building these activities into repeatable plays for the rest of the team.The Product Specialist role is highly cross-functional.
Each day is dynamic, interfacing with many different companies, people, and challenges. You’ll be working with customers over email, Slack, and Zoom helping them build Flows and become more proficient in Parabola. You’ll be sharing their product requests and reporting bugs to our Product and Engineering Teams. You’ll constantly evaluate the efficacy of your work towards increasing adoption and usage across our target customers to scale the Product Specialist function.
About you:
You are empathetic and the challenges of your customers and their business is what fuels you to do your best work. You are naturally curious and love learning about new industries, technologies, and use cases. You love the feeling of having helped solve a complex problem. You’re comfortable with data and have direct experience working in SQL, Excel, and other data analytics tools. Most importantly, you love to roll up your sleeves and pride yourself on your “figure it out and get it done” mentality.
You execute quickly without sacrificing quality and juggle different priorities in a clear and organized way.
What you'll be doing:
- Become a product expert on our no-code platform, being able to swiftly unblock customers with whatever questions arise over Slack, email, and live calls.’
- Build trust and partnership with our key customers by leading office hours, enablement sessions, and co-building calls to increase usage and adoption.
- Document and surface feedback from customers to our Product and Engineering Teams in a clear, organized, and actionable way.
- Identify new prospects or expansion opportunities with our existing customers to tee up for our Sales team.
- Share learnings, iterate on what’s working, and build/improve processes that scales our Product Specialist Team.
What (we think) you’ll need to do it:
- 0-1+ year of working experience
- Past experience with customer/client-facing work including internships, ideally supporting a technical product/project.
- Demonstrated track record of executing on tasks quickly while keeping an incredibly high bar for quality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, preferably in small, fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with a knack for building relationships quickly.
- Hunger to get a wide array of customer-facing experience quickly and have a growth mindset to receive feedback openly and continuously improve your craft.
Nice to haves:
- Previous experience working with no/low code tools.
- Previous experience working with SQL and APIs (Ex: past coursework in computer science, data science, data analysis)
- Previous experience working in a startup environment.
Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000This salary range represents the minimum and maximum for this role based in San Francisco. The salary given for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including years of experience, interview performance and anticipated responsibilities of the role. Our base salary is one component of Parabola’s competitive total package, which also includes equity and premium health and wellness benefits.
