What you’ll do
As a member of the Global Services Unit, you will be a part of a creative team responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification to developing, testing, and launching. Your focus will be to write JavaScript using modern front-end frameworks to a high standardin a timely and scalable way that improves the code in meaningful ways. Also, as Devtech is focused on learning and development, you will be expected to participate in company-wide efforts and promote security, quality, and knowledge-sharing culture across the company.
In this position, you will report to your engineering team lead.
- Creatively solving problems from the big picture to the nuts and bolts
- Building conceptual prototypes to explore interactive behaviors and front end technological capabilities
- Participating in the development and communication of design guidelines, patterns, and libraries
- Designing user-facing features
- Participating in technical design, code reviews, planning, and retrospective activities.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of demonstrated professional experience with frontend development
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and React
- Knowledge of Fluent UI, Jest, HTML5/DOM, CSS3, and responsive web frameworks
- Passion for great design, user experience, and site usability
- Ability to communicate design concept ideas through sketches, prototypes, and wireframes
- Bonus points for familiarity with micro frontend architectural style
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Familiarity with the Security domain is a plus
- Familiarity with the Cloud Marketplaces is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
