The expected starting base pay for this role is USD $90,000-$95,000.00 per year. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
SUMMARY
Fujitsu Frontech is seeking an experienced IT security analyst to work with our IT department team and Fujitsu CIT team members in Japan and the United States to:a) understand the objectives and practices of Fujitsu group from IT security and compliance perspectives.b) execute necessary measures to fulfil the requirements.c) communicate with appropriate individuals in Fujitsu group (mainly CIT group members) and internally with FFNA management.d) Work on projects with limited/required timelines.
We are looking for a motivated, accomplished professional to coordinate and work with team members on security policies and practices. This position requires good in-depth understanding of management styles and cultures both in Japan and the United States. And, requires solid bi-lingual Japanese and English language skills, and time and quality management skills coupled with the ability to work in a highly collaborative and high-paced work environment.

Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to;
- IT Security Measures: Risk assessment, vulnerability scanning, and implementation of countermeasures for network, server, and application security.
- Vulnerability Management: Collection and analysis of vulnerability information, planning and execution of vulnerability countermeasures, and effectiveness measurement. This includes patching and configuration changes for known vulnerabilities.
- End-of-Life Product Support: Assessment of the current status of end-of-life products, development of migration plans to alternative products, and execution of migration tasks.
- Security Incident Response: Response to security incidents, investigation of causes, and consideration and implementation of preventative measures.
- Security Documentation: Creation and updating of security policies, procedures, and reports.
- Security Tool Implementation and Operation: Introduction, operation, and maintenance of security monitoring tools and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Collaborates with development and operations departments to promote security measures.
- Timely communication with the IT Manager and other appropriate individuals in Fujitsu group (including incident reporting, etc.).
- Customarily and regularly exercises independent discretion and judgment.
- Regular work site attendance.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continuous, routine reporting to the IT Manager providing the status of the IT security environment of FFNA group.
- Adheres to company policies, ISO requirements, safety, and quality.
- Supports continual improvement efforts.

- Bi-lingual Japanese and English language skills – both speaking and writing.
- Knowledge of network routing, network security, and firewall features.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science from a four-year college or university and 2+ years of IT Security or directly related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Demonstrate ability to effectively use computer and applicable computer software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with hardware configuration and software. Strong understanding, ability to navigate and manage various operating systems, inclusive of Windows, Linux, etc.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Bi-lingual Japanese and English language skills required (writing and speaking). Demonstrate ability to read, comprehend, and respond appropriately through written or verbal form when required; ability to demonstrate tactfulness when communicating, to include internal communication with staff members of all levels; ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences; ability to analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
