Live events are back, and we are busier than ever!! We are looking to add a Payroll Administrator to our team. As a subject matter expert on state and federal wage and tax regulations, this role serves as a resource for compliance and risk management efforts and assumes responsibility for error-free payroll processing and reporting. You will report directly to the Payroll Manager and be based out of our corporate office in Duluth, GA. We do function in a hybrid capacity; typically two days in the office, three days remote.Salary is $60-65K.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage all multi-state semi-monthly payroll processing.
- Perform payroll/union audits, including verifying audit findings, negotiating, and adjusting final audit findings.
- Conduct manual check processing for adjustments, discrepancies, and retroactive payments; perform manual direct deposit processing for union and salaried employees.
- Oversee check management including voiding checks, and managing stop payment requests, un-cashed check recovery, and replacement checks.
- Process PTO requests.
- Calculate and prepare payments for all participating unions.
- Partner with Payroll Administrator I on union maintenance and weekly processing
- Facilitate union benefits administration.
- Manage commission and bonus payments and distributions.
- Manage ad hoc and scheduled payroll reporting.
- Process employment verifications, child support orders, garnishments, tax levies, tax changes, and third-party sick pay
- Offer best practices and guidance to Payroll Administrator I
- Serve as back-up for unemployment insurance and I-9 processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years’ progressively responsible multi-state payroll administration experience; union experience preferred; CPP designation preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software; working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to charismatically manage cross-functional relationships within the organization and provide superior customer service.
- Expert time management and organizational skills with the ability to quickly and gracefully adapt to a rapidly-changing environment.
