Account Manager

The Position


CallRail is looking for an Account Manager to join our Sales team. The Account Manager opportunity provides an entirely new way for you to learn about our customers, marketing, and positioning by talking directly with them! In this role, you’ll focus on Account Management and building relationships with our customers to find upsell opportunities where you can position the value and benefit of our AI features and Form Tracking products. You’ll also continue to build your technical product knowledge and closing skills in this role by running demos, implementing trials and having valuable conversations through Account Reviews.

What You'll Do


  • Free Trial Duties
  • Work with existing customers who sign up for new trials of our Convert Assist, Conversation Intelligence and Form Tracking Products
  • Work with existing customers using our AI features to expand their deployment and position the value of further expanding their use of CallRail's AI offerings.
  • Helping customers get the most value out of their additional product trials in order to convert them into paying customers for Convert Assist, Conversation Intelligence and Form Tracking
  • Outbounding Accounts
  • Engage with and educate our customers through an Account Management approach to selling
  • Ensuring customers are moving through the sales funnel through targeted prospecting, proactive outreach, proper follow up and continued education
  • Running Scheduled Calls
  • Run scheduled demo calls, trial implementation calls and account reviews from marketing or your own account management efforts. Each call has a different objective from helping a customer optimize their existing account through new products or their existing products to negotiating large AI opportunities with high value customers
  • Account Management, Growth & Optimization
  • Continued relationships with customers to ensure we are there to discuss additional products or expansion of CallRail's AI features. Work to collect client feedback to help our product team refine the platform.
  • Data and Pipeline Management
  • Maintain accurate and detailed contact, lead, opportunity, account, and Sales activity in Salesforce 
  • Sales Skills
  • Gain continued knowledge of the marketing technology landscape with a specific focus on the call tracking and analytics market
  • Increase your sales skills through weekly team trainings, role play, 1:1s and call coaching
  • Develop cross departmental relationships to help increase company efficiency and move the business forward

What You'll Need


  • Consistent and strong performance 
  • A solutions oriented mindset
  • The ability to collaborate with your team, and with other departments including product, marketing, and support
  • 2 years of prior Sales experience 
  • Internal Candidates: 
  • Must be in good standing in your current role (no performance improvement plans) 
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Excellent listening skills
  • A team-oriented attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Highly proactive and disciplined to manage time effectively
  • Patience and customer centric mindset with an ability to identify new opportunities during Account Management discussions
