About the role:
Our Sourcer is interested in becoming a true partner with our Hiring Managers within our Product development team. Talent acquisition is the driving force behind VuMedi's growth and is responsible for cultivating exceptionalism by finding top talent and hiring experts for our interdisciplinary teams, all while providing an all-around great candidate experience.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sourcing experience
- Ability to evaluate candidate profiles and interview feedback, to determine their level of skill
- Enough passion and depth to learn the basic technical fundamentals of the positions for which you're hiring
- Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.
- Experience using Greenhouse, LinkedIn, and G Suite
- Ability to build reports and dashboards through queries in Excel or Google Sheets
- You have excellent communication skills
- You are thoughtful and emphatic so you can effectively partner with others in the organisation
- You are adaptive and know how to choose an approach appropriate for the moment
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and identifying industry experts while finding unique methods to engage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in dynamic startup-like environments
What you will do:
- Day to day tasks include sourcing and pipeline management for hiring priorities
- Independently drive continuous improvement and strategic recruiting initiatives by providing your hiring managers with the metrics they need to be aware of
- Build relationships with hiring managers to discuss new requisitions, hiring strategy, and interview feedback
- Create strategies to identify, attract, and engage with the best talent (sourcing, referrals, external agency management and more)
- Attend debriefs alongside hiring teams to act as a peer in evaluating candidates.
- Make process suggestions for achieving team goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the team and the company
- Be an active member of the wider community and help with brand visibility

The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, unique relevant experience and job-related skills.Cash salary is but one component of our compensation package. It’s inclusive of base salary, education budget, free meals allowance, work from an alternative workplace allowance, occasional awards - Christmas bonus, and an annual bonus.
